Restoring speechspeech
to people living with severe paralysis.

We are building a minimally invasive brain-computer interface platform. Our first product translates cortical activity into synthesized speech and digital autonomy.

Our mission

Bring safe, durable, neurotechnology to restore human potential

The Neuro E1 targets conditions such as ALS, stroke, and the aftermath of severe trauma, that can leave a fully aware person unable to move or speak.

Each year, millions of individuals acquire severe motor and speech deficits, yet existing communication aids are often too slow and exhausting to use effectively.

We change that.

Real-time expression

Communication that feels like expression, not effort. Enough bandwidth for fluent speech, and real-time conversations.

Designed with users

Our software is shaped around the people who use it. We prioritise ergonomics and everyday usability for the things that matter most to them.

Built to last

A minimally invasive approach that favours a simpler surgery and a device built to last.

The technology

A less invasive implant approach, enabled by advanced decoding.

Eclipse Neurotech's implant sits safely above the dura mater, the brain's protective membrane. This means a simpler surgery, no damage to the brain, and an implant that lasts.

03Action

01Record

An epidural implant, placed above the protective membrane of the brain, records cortical activity safely and continuously.

02Decode

Epidural brain signals are faint. Our algorithms are the result of over a decade of academic research, and the first to translate epidural signal into synthesized speech.

03Action

The output becomes speech that is synthesized, or motor commands that give the user control over their digital devices.

Ethics & responsibility

The brain holds our most intimate personal information.

We pioneer industry norms to protect neurodata, and ensure neurotechnology is developed responsibly, openly, and in the interest of the people it is meant to serve.

Brain signals are collected only for the purpose the person agreed to, never sold, and never repurposed for advertising, profiling, or any other unauthorized purposes.

Neural data protection is engineered into the system. We minimise what is collected, secure what is stored, and give users control over their data.

The device exists to give a person back their own actions. It is designed to serve the user's agency, not to shape, nudge, or speak for them.

Our work advances under clinical and ethical review, with scientists, clinicians, users, and ethicists who can question our choices.

Build the future of neurotechnology with us.

Eclipse Neurotech is advancing a bold mission to bring safe, durable neurotechnology from the lab to users. High impact work that sits at the intersection of medicine, neuroscience, and deep technology.
